On February 7, 2025 he was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, and has begun aggressive chemotherapy treatment with hopes of slowing down the inevitable outcome. I’m hoping to activate and enable the fly fishing community to rally around one of our own Scot Simmons.
