I’m currently in Wisconsin, and fully enjoying lake nights and bluegill fishing from the pier. New to me this year is a 1 weight Redington Butterstick. I’ve been in love with this rod ever since I learned about it from my friend Robert Hawkins aka Bobby Nachos of Bob Mitchell’s Fly Shop.

Here are a few photos from my most recent night out on the pier with it. I was using one of my own dry fly patterns that consists primarily of foam, and the bluegill were all over it. I’m looking forward to getting this rod out more and dominating my #icatchsmallfishtour with it!
