I’m currently in Wisconsin, and fully enjoying lake nights and bluegill fishing from the pier. New to me this year is a 1 weight Redington Butterstick. I’ve been in love with this rod ever since I learned about it from my friend Robert Hawkins aka Bobby Nachos of Bob Mitchell’s Fly Shop.
My Cousin Giacomo
My cousin Giacomo has a Youtube channel. He’s actually had it for a long while now, but it’s been quiet. Recently he posted a new video to his channel and to my surprise he is building out a van to use for camping trips. How awesome is that!

Soft Hackles For Brookies On The Kinnickinnic River
This is my favorite time of year to fish soft hackles for brookies on the Kinnickinnic River. I don’t know what it is but now through the month of May I can’t seem to keep the fish off of my soft hackle flies. This is not a complaint, just an observation.

First Guided Fishing Trip Of 2022
My first guided fishing trip of 2022 season is in the books! The weather this winter (February) in Minnesota was brutally cold. Cristian and I had to reschedule because of how cold it was going to be on the day we had originally planned. Thankfully, the weather was more than pleasant the day that we did get out to explore the trout streams.
