Just like previous summers, this one has been filled with charred chicken, and fun fish. 2 of my favorite things in the summer. Oh, but how could I forget about an ice cold beer in my favorite Pig Farm Ink koozie.

My 3 wt Cabela’s CGR fiberglass rod has been my go to rod this summer. I’ve even taken it out with my on my Flycraft while targeting musky to break up the monotony of casting a big fly with nothing to show for it.
I’ve had a few people notice that I have a very lightweight rod mixed with my Thomas & Thomas Exocett Predator fly rod, and my new musky casting set up with Shimano Tranx 400 casting reel. (More to come about that later)
I have some new cooking seasonings that I’ve been loving from Over the Fire Cooking / Derek Wolf / Spiceology. They’ve been pairing great with the charred chicken I’ve been grilling and fueling me to catch more fun fish.
