It was 2012 when I picked up my first issue of The FlyFish Journal. Since then it’s been my favorite printed fly fishing magazine. I’ve always been impressed with the imagery and words shared within it. I had a goal of one day having a photo of my own permanently splattered with ink on the magazines pages.
Well, it happened. I’m excited and extremely thankful to have a photo included in the Summer 2021 issue of The FlyFish Journal (Issue 12.4). Big thanks to Scot Simmons for doing his thing while we were out fishing for trout in the Wisconsin Driftless. The man just loves life, nature, and fly fishing. I was just lucky enough to capture a special moment he had with a small caterpillar.

Now if I can only achieve my day dream of being able teleport myself.
